If you think there’s a lot of “garbage” that’s showing up on your reports, chances are there’s a fair amount of “garbage” going into it. And by “garbage”, I mean inaccurate data. I’ve compiled a shortlist of the 3 most common reasons why a RoboHead report could produce inaccurate data.
- If you or your team doesn’t diligently maintain the current status of your Projects, then every time you report on the status, chances are that it won’t be correct.
- The same thing goes for Task status. If your team doesn’t mark Tasks complete or keep the statuses up-to-date, then don’t expect an accurate Task report — it’s not going to happen.
- Last, are you archiving completed Projects? Unarchived Projects are considered active, so if that number of active Projects isn’t decreasing and you don’t know why, it’s probably because the Projects aren’t being archived.
Don’t worry, we have a quick fix!
If you or your team struggles with updating your projects, or sometimes forget, then RoboScripts are the answer to your problem. RoboScripts can help automate repetitive processes, which is a great way to ensure completed Projects are being archived or marked complete.
If you’re new to RoboScripts and want to learn what they can and can’t do for your team, check out our blog article RoboScripts: Automate Your Way To Success.
Keeping Task and Project statuses current, along with archiving completed Projects, are just three easy ways that you can reduce the “garbage” going into your reports and drastically reduce the “garbage” coming out of your reports in RoboHead.
